Gayle Tierney, the minister responsible for corrections, has been named in an Ombudsman investigation relating to the rorting of hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxpayers money.
It beggars belief that the minister responsible for corrections can be found to have been involved in the rorting of taxpayers’ money.
As the Ombudsman found on page four: “The arrangement to employ field organisers as electorate officers was an artifice to secure partial payment for the campaign out of parliamentary funds, and was wrong.”
Victoria has a law and order crisis and now we learn that Daniel Andrews’ Attorney-General, Police Minister and Corrections minister have all been involved in this systematic rort of taxpayers’ money.
Is it any wonder Victorians have no confidence in this government’s ability to manage the law and order crisis.
