Daniel Andrews must come clean and detail whether the State Budget is wrong or that Bacchus Marsh will be the home of the new prison.
Despite spending months claiming that Lara would be home of the new prison, the State Budget clearly states that the town of Bacchus Marsh has been chosen.
As if the Melton Electorate hasn’t had enough Labor pains with rorting member Don Nardella, Daniel Andrews has now planned a prison in a community that has for too long been let down by Labor.
And if it is a mistake, how many other mistakes appear in this high taxing Budget which provides no hope for Victorians over the next four years.
It is little wonder that the Corrections system is in crisis, with four part time Ministers in just 3 years and a rise in escapes, assaults and deaths in custody.
